Twyford Bowling Club Activities*

Twyford Bowling Club is a thriving flat-green bowling outdoor club with a well kept 6 rink green and clubhouse and is open from late April until mid-September each year.

During the playing season we encourage members to 'roll up and play' or take part in friendly internal matches.

The Club also organises predominantly mixed friendly matches but its fixture list also contains nearly 30 ladies matches and a number of men's matches including the Royal County of Berkshire Bowling Association KLV League for the over 55s.

In addition it runs a number of Club Competitions and some members enter the Berkshire County Competitions.

During the season the Club meets regularly on Monday evenings for a members points competition and on Friday evenings (Open Night) when coaching is available for beginners as well as for more experienced bowlers.

The Club is open to all members to play from 09:00 - Dusk each day, subject to Club matches and greenkeeping activities.

In the winter regular social functions are arranged for those interested.

Visitors are welcome to come along to the club any Friday evening during the summer to see for yourself what we have to offer. You will be made to feel very welcome (Friday Open Evenings Details).
