| NEWS 18th September 2008 2008 SEASON RESULTS SUMMARYThis is the final edition of Twyford Bowling Club News for this season which officially finished at the weekend. I hope you have enjoyed reading about our successes and failures and for those interested in statistics I have included a summary of all the seasons results. As you can see the Club won more games overall than it lost; a relatively successful year. We came second in Division 2 of the Kennet LX East Central, narrowly missing out on winning the division by only one point, so next year we will be playing in Division 1 with the big boys, hopefully we can do well. In the main Kennet League Division 3 East having dropped back down from Division 2 we only managed to come 4th, next year we must do better. For Club members don't forget the Dinner on the 24th October, the AGM on the 21st November or the Monthly Social Evenings which are being held on: 4th October, 1st November, 6th December, 3rd January, 7th February, 7th March and the 4th April al at 7 pm. Please feel free to check in on this page from time to time over the winter as I will try to report on any thing of significance that crops up. Apart from that as the saying goes "Winter Well" and enjoy Indoor or Short Mat bowling if you take part. I will return with the regular reports in May 2009, until then here are are most recent results. Three Victories Brings the Curtain Down On A Successful Season for
